Common questions
How much time should I bring along?
It depends on your availability and the projects/events that you want to help organize. We don't expect any minimum hours from you, as everyone volunteers in their own free time.
Indicative values
With event organization:
- 3-5h per week
- primarily for arrangements with event leads (calls/meetings/messages)
- as well as your actual task (e.g. create decoration, social media graphics, ticketing/guest list)
- You can always decide for yourself whether you do that for 3 hours in a row on a Saturday afternoon, or spread over the week
Without event organization:
- 1-2h per week
- primarily for reading Chat/ Slack announcements to stay up-to-date
- There are many projects and inquiries that come in regularly, so you can then decide whether you want to get involved
Which values & principles are particularly important?
Our goal is to create, maintain and protect SAFER spaces for FLINTA* people with our parties. We are feminist, anti-racist, against any form of discrimination against LGBTQIA+ people and celebrate body acceptance.
The music of our hearts is techno and all types of it. Not only that: At our events, we like to promote local artists who share, support or live our values. This is how we create magical evenings for all of us.

Is there a remuneration/salary?
Since we are a volunteer association, there is no financial compensation. For many of our employees, the best form of compensation is the gratitude of many wonderful beings and the active participation of value representatives through our events.
BUT: We regularly organize internal GetTogethers and have opportunities to participate in workshops on safer use, awareness or other feminist topics. The exchange with other organizations and collectives also often results in many beautiful (personal) symbioses and experiences that are unique.
What is expected of me?
We expect that you our values shares, actively participates in projects (event organization, collaborations) and treats other people with respect. What is important is that proactive work & exchange, to make your values and prospects visible in the club.
Your further “duties” depend on the working group that you join. In general, we expect commitment, reliability and the willingness to work as a team. This includes regularly keeping yourself up to date and having active conversations in Slack (our communication tool). The association thrives on sharing everyone's experiences and perspectives. We encourage and want conversations that enrich us all and may also allow the association to take new paths.
How much experience do I need to have?
Experience is helpful but not essential. We offer training and support for new employees.
Everyone is open to any questions you may have. You can't know our processes or procedures and no one expects that from you. We'll try to explain a few core processes to you through a small onboarding process, but a lot is really asking and learning by doing, as well as bringing in your way of working.
Each person needs something different to work (on a voluntary basis). Some need personal communication, others need to-do lists or regular reminders. All you have to do is tell us how you would like to work and we'll try to find a way for you.
Do I have to be active in the party scene?
No, that is not a requirement. There are many different ways to get involved with us. Depending on your work group, you can decide for yourself whether you want to be active in the foreground or in the background. There are plenty of opportunities to get away from the eventorganization to bring in.
How often do meetings take place?
We have our regulars' table every first Thursday of the month, which is mandatory for all employees. However, it is also normal that you can't always. It's just the happening where the club sees each other in real life over one or two soft drinks and exchanges ideas.
It also varies depending on the working group. Each working group also has a self-organized monthly get-together.
Can I pause my presence when I need a break?
Yes, you can pause your membership at any time. We understand that life is unpredictable sometimes. However, we would like you to communicate this proactively and also that you consider for yourself how much sense it makes sense to be involved, for example if you go abroad or have no more capacity in the foreseeable future. Breaks of 1-6 months are completely normal though.
How is work & communication organized in the association?
We use Slack as a communication platform that represented all working groups and topics with various channels (groups). In addition, we have a signal (Messenger) Group, which is happenings or memes for spontaneous weekends, is not quite as serious.:) We also use Google Workspaceto organize files and emails in a bundle.
In terms of work technology, everyone uses something different, some use their notebook, other project management tools or simply communication. We don't want to dictate anything too much like a company does.
Are there any specific projects I can work on?
We always have several projects, such as collaboration requests, merchandise articles, awareness, social media campaigns about various content on the scene or simply improving existing processes or organizing a GetTogether.
Are there opportunities to work with other feminist organizations?
Yes, we often work with other organizations to achieve common goals. We always have inquiries about this, but we also proactively approach other organizations for collaboration ourselves. You are also welcome to share your experience and network and suggest a collaboration.
How does the association deal with discrimination and harassment?
We promote diversity and inclusion through training, guidelines and an open, non-violent communication culture. We also have clear policies and procedures to prevent and address discrimination and harassment.

Organization AG plans and coordinates our parties. Together with the creation- and deco We develop a working group Event concepts and implement them in teamwork with all working groups. In addition to planning, we also ensure that everything runs smoothly at the event itself.
Communication & creation
Kommunikation & Kration AG is home to our ✨ Creatives ✨. We take care of the communication and public presentation of individual parties and the homemade brand to the outside world. For this, we create newsletters, social media posts and texts for our Events. We create graphics and interact with our magical beings (that's what we call our guests).
Awareness (FLINTA* Casting)
Our Awareness-Group is committed to making all guests feel safe and respected at our parties. We raise awareness of issues such as consensus, borders and respect and are actively on the ground to mediate and offer support in the event of conflicts.
decoration
We are responsible for the visual design of the homemade parties. Our vision is to create an atmosphere in our SAFER space that makes every party unique and makes every person feel ecstasy.
Our decoration team consists of five people. Three of them are primarily concerned with decorating, building and crafting and the other two are primarily concerned with lighting and visuals.
With us, you can let off steam completely. We work on the theme of the party together with Organizations and then implement our visions independently. We like to make our own objects and creatively use everyday things, such as a rain gutter in our last stage set.
Human Resources
Our Human Resources (employee management) is our youngest working group and is responsible for all personnel related tasks. She takes care of the registration and billing of people working at our events and is in contact with our tax consulting firm.
In addition to the ongoing ToDos in connection with our events, we are also currently focusing on creating structures and processes to be even more efficient within our working group.
Internet
Unsere Arbeitsgruppe „Internet“ ist das digitale Herzstück des Vereins. Wir kümmern uns darum, dass alles online läuft – vom digitalen Anmeldeprozess bis zum Ticket-Scan an der Tür. Wir entwickeln Webanwendungen, automatisieren interne Prozesse und kümmern uns um die gesamte technische Infrastruktur von hausgemacht.
Dabei geht’s nicht nur ums Coden: Wir gestalten aktiv mit, wie sich der Verein digital weiterentwickelt, probieren neue Technologien aus und schaffen Tools, die unseren Gästen und Mitgliedern das Leben leichter machen.
Bei uns kannst du lernen, experimentieren und echte Projekte umsetzen, die tausende Menschen nutzen. Wir treffen uns regelmäßig (online & offline), gehen gemeinsam zu Meetups und lieben es, über Code, Tech und das Leben generell zu quatschen.

We feel you. With us, you have the opportunity to get a taste of various working groups and work across working groups. However, our experience shows that it is easier for you to focus primarily on one AG. Otherwise, you'll quickly be out and about at several get-togethers per month. So listen to yourself and decide which team you would like to actively participate in. Basically, we always find a solution to offer you a suitable place with us.
You can also a individual application send if the tasks overwhelm you and you've found another way to introduce yourself to us (short video 📹, lovely pictures 🖼️ or texts 📝 from you). These tasks above primarily help us filter and get an impression of you (we only have your name + email address 🥺).
